QuickTricks is very pleased to announce that it will offer its beginner lesson series again this fall.  The class will run for 10 weeks, September 22 through November 24, every Monday night 6-8 PM at Most Holy Redeemer Church, Ellard Hall, 110 Diamond St. @ 18th St. in the Castro.  The first class is free -- try it and see if you like it!  The series cost is $150, payable in full at the second class.

Each class will start with a short lecture followed by supervised play.  Our instructors are Bob Schwab, Anne Derbes, and Andrew Straus.  All three are longtime members of QuickTricks, and American Contract Bridge League Gold Life Masters.  Bob is a professor emeritus at the University of Maryland and Anne is a retired professor at Hood College.  All three have extensive bridge and teaching experience.

This class is suitable for people who are complete beginners who have never played bridge, or who have some familiarity with bridge and need a refresher.  No previous bridge experience is required.

You do not need a partner to join the class; singles will be matched up.  All materials will be supplied.

The class website is here:  https://sites.google.com/umd.edu/quicktricksclassseptember2025

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.  Space is limited and the class will sell out.  Registration will be taken on a first come first served basis, so sign up soon!  To register, e-mail QuickTricks club manager Kim Fanady at [email protected].

Please join us for a fun, interactive way to learn the greatest card game in the world! You will play bridge in your very first session!  Hope to see you in September!
